UPCOMING CHANGES TO BILL PAY AND MOBILE BANKING 

CFB Customer,

We greatly appreciate the opportunity to provide you with a customer-centered, personal banking experience. We have not typically provided information in this manner, but after some additional research, we have found that this is a beneficial way to notify our electronic banking customers. This notice is being provided to you as we are in the process of completing the upgrade of Bill Pay and Mobile Banking products in the next two weeks.

Bill Pay

We are changing our Bill Pay provider to provide a more seamless service to our customers. Bill Pay service will be unavailable from 4 PM CST on March 21 until March 25. This means that you will not be able to add/change payments or payees during this period.

The new provider is scheduled to be responsible for payments dated on Friday, March 22, 2024 or later. During this conversion, you should not have any payment interruption in service. Our current provider will be responsible for issuing payments that are scheduled to be paid on or before by March 21, 2024. Payments set up before March 21, 2024, and scheduled to be paid on March 22, 2024, or later will be handled by our new provider.

What data is being brought forward to your new bill pay platform: 

  • Currently Scheduled Payments 
  • Recurring Bill Payments  
  • Payees that are business or small business 
  • Account number(s) tied to Bill Pay account 

What will NOT be converted: 

  • Payments to an Individual Payee without an attached address  
  • Bill Pay history  

Directions are attached if you would like to download and save your Bill Pay history which would include your Payments to an Individual Payee and Bill Pay history.   

The biggest change in the new Bill Pay platform is in how your payments will be processed. Currently, if you did not have sufficient funds to cover the bill payment being issued, that payment would be suspended and payment would not be issued. Going forward, regardless of your checking account balance, your payment will be processed, which could result in your account in an overdrawn status. 

There might be some payments that are currently being sent electronically, that may be sent by check as we change providers.  Please note that the payment will reach the payee by the selected payment date regardless of the payment method.    

Mobile Banking 

On March 25, 2024, our new Mobile Banking App will be launched.  That morning you will need to go to the app store and search for the new CFB Mobile Banking App.  The app name is CFB Mobile. You will need to log in with your existing username, password, and security challenge questions.   

New Features of this app: 

  • Ability to set alerts in the App.
  • Add an Instant Balance on the lock screen.
  • Open a new deposit account. 

Coming this summer, you will be able to control the features of your Debit Card within the app.
